Curriculum

T he board of studies activities is carried out by the faculty of the department based on the revision of syllabus which is recognized by INC, New Delhi. Professors, Assc. Professors, Lecturers and Tutors/Clinical Instructors are in- charge for B.Sc (N) course and only Professors, Assoc. Professors and Lecturer, are included in Board of Study Meeting for M.Sc (N) course.

 The required hours are allotted to community health nursing by respective class co-ordinator. The units are allotted to all the faculty members by the HOD. All the faculty members in the department have equal responsibilities and supervision of students in the community area.

The methods of evaluation are done by conducting unit tests, giving assignments, presentations, viva voce in the community area by the faculty members.

According to the Clinical Rotation, Annual Master Plan, Time Schedule classes are handled by the faculty members.

The University examination is conducted in the month of August for B.Sc (N) and July for M.Sc (N).

Achievements

Department of community health nursing has been providing very good academic achievements till this period. III & VI semester students are involved in community health nursing.

Co-Curricular Activities

Community health Nursing Department conducting various field activities like school health programme, cooking demonstrations, mass health education, medical camp, IPPI Programme etc and celebrating all vital days by conducting seminars, workshops, symposia, group discussion, guest lecture on theme.
