In commemoration of world cancer day, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing organized a health exhibition programme on” Prevention & Life Style Modification for Cancer” on 13.03.2018 at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Madukarai, Puducherry. The target audiences were teachers & students of middle sections.
Ms. Hannah Ashwini gave an introduction regarding the Cancer Day. In health exhibition, III Year B.Sc. (N) students had exhibited all aspects of cancer ranging from risk factor to prevention and lifestyle modification in the form of video, posters, flashcards. Followed by this Mr.Ravindren III Year B.Sc., (N), a student gave a lucid talk on cancer and its impacts on health. Feedbacks were collected. The audience was much impressed and found it as a very effective and informative session.
