I am Mrs. Annie Annal . M, Professor cum HOD in department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, KGNC. Joined  this institution as a Professor in the year 2010. I did my Undergraduate from Matha College of Nursing, Manamadurai affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University and Postgraduate from Savitha College of Nursing affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University. Totally I have 18 years of experience in teaching and 2 years in clinicals. I held the post of Deputy Registrar (Nursing), SBV from 2013 to 2019 and the post of  Deputy Controller of Examinations (Nursing) SBV  from 2019 to 2021. Being as a Research guide for UG and PG students. My other responsibilities includes Member Secretary for the Advisory Committee,  Research club and Monitoring committee for KGNC. I have been as a Question paper setter, evaluator and external practical examiner in various Universities and author of two copyrights.

I Mrs.S. Lavanya Compassionate  nursing  faculty joined as Lecturer on 1.7.2009 with 3 years of teaching and one year of clinical experience. I have promoted as Asso. professor in April 2018 with 15 years 9 months of experience (3 years after UG and 11 years 9 months of teaching after PG)  , out of  which 12 years 9 months of experience in our esteemed institution . I exhibit good teaching skills of under graduate and post graduate students in classroom / clinical fields. I demonstrate strong ability to lead and instruct the students and prepare them for accomplishment of assigned task and also motivate the students to develop their expertise in their specific areas. I have more interest in undertaking individual and departmental research projects. I also have a record of 20 publications of research articles in reputed journals and Three copyrights. I do  incorporate  knowledge gathered from  recent advanced journals and  other sources to educate the students and patients.   I  provide  good direction and guiding   the  PG & UG students  for their dissertation and research project corrections.

My excellence in scholarly activities includes participation and presentation of  research articles in various national and international conferences , workshops ,seminars and CNEs  etc  organized by various institutions.

 I am eligible for practical examiner for both UG and PG examination conducted by our SBV  and other university. I have been appointed as  the question paper setter for  PG students from Dutta  mahe institute of medical sciences from Noida.

I have additional credit to my qualification through  completing PG Diploma  in yoga therapy and also successfully completed "Implementation of NABH pre-Accrediated entry level certification Standards in hospitals/Health care Organization". I have contributed in Health related  awareness programme for adolescent girls and Reproductive age women. This made me to integrate my personal and professional attributes for better professional development. I have received best faculty award in International Nurses day celebration -2019 organized by MGMCRI. 

I am holding the position of member secretary for Nursing Education Unit and reproductive health unit, institutional publication incharge and also Nursing Audit committee member in Nursing services Unit. I have took part in organin My personal abilities include well understanding the perspectives of individual. I am friendly , approachable with good interaction  and cordial relationship  with students,  colleagues and peer groups. 

I’m Mrs. Umamaheswari. R working as  an Assistant Professor in Department of OBG Nursing. I have Completed my UG at Dr. Sagunthala College of Nursing in 2008 and PG at Adhiparasakthi College of Nursing in 2012. I started my carreer as Staff Nurse. Totally I have 11 years 8 months experience, 1 year as staff  nurse and  10 years 8 months teaching experience. From 2013 to till now I’m working as an Assistant Professor in Department of OBG Nursing, KGNC.

I’m an organized professional with proven teaching, guidance & counselling skills. Possess a strong record in improving test scores and teaching effectively.

          I Chosen Nursing as my professional career in the year 2001 and graduated from Vivekananda College of Nursing under Dr. MGR Medical University; I completed my post graduation from Pavan College of Nursing under Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences, Bangalore in the year 2010. My interest is teaching and I started my career as an tutor and currently working as a  Professor in OBG Nursing. Completed my Doctoral Degree in Nursing  at Annamalai University in the monthe of June 2023. My aim and motive to encourage the students to learn and improve their skills to update their knowledge and practice in obstetrics and gynecological nursing. “Curiosity is the one thing invincible in nature. Research is formalized to curiosity. It is poking.” I serve as a guide for both UG and PG students and coordinating with other interdepartmental research projects.  I have been recognized as a Guide for Ph.D Programme in Nuring of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth from July 2023. I am committed to my work and I share many professional responsibilities. To built my career under this esteemed institution helps to grow my professional skills and would lead me for a better career with every step.  Completed fellowship in Palliative Care. Holding additional responsibility as Dy.Contoller of Examinations (Nursing). I shall continue to give my best in future and future endeavors too.
