Research Committee was initiated on 1 February 2014 to promote the faculty and students, aiming for evidence-based practice from both patient care and academics. The SBV has a well-developed Central Inter Disciplinary Research Facility which would extend their endless support to Nursing in bringing out the standard research activities, confirm facts, reaffirm the results of previous work, solve new or existing problems, support theories and develop new theories. The Research Committee includes the committees such as IHEC (Institutional Human Ethical Committee) and IRC(Institutional Research Council). The Committee enables the students and faculty to conduct extensive research on different specialties and utilize the research findings to improve the quality of nursing practice, education and management. KGNC simplifies concept building and transforms new ideas into innovations which are passion for researchers. It encourages the students and faculty to undertake more research in new emerging frontier areas of nursing.
